ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS: Please read our *Member Agreement*

I tried to keep things very *FREE* when I had my first board, "My Rage For Order" open in 2003 - 2009...but, even with "adults", unfortunately, some could not follow the simple rule of mutual respect and integrity. Which led me to decide a somewhat detailed member agreement was still needed.

This is where I have laid down the rules of my board. I do still run a very open and liberal board...so my rules are mainly based on common sense alone.

So here is that agreement...each rule of the board has been numbered(5 basic rules have been laid down, I will add more, if need be):

1. Most importantly...you must agree to respect each person on this board. Though you may not always agree with them or perhaps even dislike them, I ask that you still respect them while you are on my board. Personal attacks and put-downs will not be tolerated.

2. If you have a problem or disagreement with someone here...please take it to PM, chat, email or phone. Not everyone wants to read about your tiff and it brings down the morale of the board faster than you think. If I see it happening on my board, I will either edit, delete it or move it to my private area for further consideration...but never without a warning.

3. I would greatly appreciate that what happens here on the board, stays here on the board. Since I do not want bickering here, please do not take the problem elsewhere to further escalate the situation...still keep it to PM, chat, etc...it need not be discussed elsewhere. If I find you are doing that on another board and showing no respect for this board...you will be warned and/or temporarily or permanently banned from my board. Slander will not be tolerated, either.

4. Thread content will be watched. I am very open, but find the nonsense threads, such as "let's count" or "what time is it???", useless and will delete them if I see them. I am also very leery of threads like "pet peeves", that seem to promote negativity and side-way comments about others on the board. Tho I will still allow such a thread, I will watch it closely for sarcasm and personal attacks, which will be the death of it. As well, personal threads for individuals ONLY are for the shout-out area or please take it to PM...no one else wants to read or scroll past these things. Thank you.

5. I used the "3 Strikes And You're Out" concept here originally and it will still apply...

1st Strike: One mark against you...a warning and or editing, depending on what was said or done.

2nd Strike: Two marks against you...another warning...and or editing, depending on what was said or done...and a closer eye on your behavior.

3rd Strike: Three marks against you...notification of either permanent or temporary ban from the board. If the action wasn't too severe...consideration for lifting the ban may be possible, if said person is truly sorry and has changed their attitude and actions for the better. I believe people can change or be having a rough time in life, causing them to strike out at the wrong people...if this is the case...that will be considered after a banning period has passed. The length of that ban depends on a variety of things.
