Being in Delaware, we don't get a lot of bands coming through our tiny little state. So we usually need to travel to the many venues in the surrounding states if we want to see any national acts. I've seen our beloved QR 3 times, sadly, all of them were post Degarmo. I never got to see them in their prime and when they were clicking on all cylinders. The three times I DID see them, I was lucky enough to do so POST Kelly Grey, during the Mike Stone era. I saw them on the Co headlining tour with Dream Theater and I saw them with Symphony X on the Art of Live Tour Twice. I have yet to meet the band, which may put me in a minority around these parts. But I hope to remedy that at some point in the near future. You know, if they would tour someplace nearby, like Philly. CAMDEN, NJ doesn't count. I'm not brave enough to go THERE after dark.

Thanks for sharing, Dr. R. Sorry to hear that you have yet to meet the band. I have met all original members, except Chris. I wish I had met him when he was still in the band. I did see them multiple times with him in the band, tho...just didn't meet any of the members until 2002.

I've met them a few times. They did a signing at a record store (remember those?) in Chicago just after Promised Land came out. I'd met up with Kevin Scurlock... we'd met on the old AOL boards... and got autographs and photos. We were both offering to help the fan club way back then and had an opportunity to get to the Meet and Greet in Ft Wayne, IN. This also let to getting on stage for the Promised Land bar scene. (By far the BEST place to see the show from) Kevin went on to do the website... I moved to Florida and met them three more times. Once on HitNF (and the last time seeing/meeting Chris), where I started doing the fan club magazine for a few years. got to go back stage during the Q2K tour and to a sound check on the tour with Fates and Dream Theater. I've had the opportunity to talk with everyone multiple times, and found everyone (even Geoff!) to be nothing but friendly and helpful to me. I eventually walked away from helping the campaign because of my growing work schedules and the lack of... focus by the Campaign. I can't say that I'm surprised at what has happened with/to the band since I stopped working with them in 01 or so.
Somewhere in a box I've got a bunch of the mini-cassette tapes with the interviews I've done with them during that time. I'm glad that I've had the opportunity to meet them, and have it be a good experience.

Who else was at the show last night? Did anyone get clear photos of Todd holding up the green poster?

You should find those cassettes and convert them to mp3's, so you could share them here. That would ROCK, Tryryche!

I'll have to figure out a way to convert them. They're mini cassettes form and old answering machine. Nothing to play them on currently....

I have had many, many meetings over the 25 plus years of being a fan ..The most recent was December 2012 and I have to say was one of the most relaxed and fun times . All were happy and they all hung out with us Vip peeps like one big happy family. I got to meet Todd for the first time along with his girl Pyhraa and he gave me a great big hug . I have to say I was a tad star struck...Then I hung out with Pyhraa during sound check . So it was so far the best. I am going to the Tucson show on May 23rd and we get to party at after show Vip for about 2 hours with drinks , food and fun so excited

I've seen the band over 30 times now and have met them at least a dozen times. I've had some great experiences and some not so great experiences with the band. The best one was after the Spokane Washington show when our party hung out with Whip, Ed and Bender at a bar down the street from the venue in 2009.
